Tonhi Terenzi (born March 16, 1969 in Genoa ) is a former Italian saber fencer .
successes
Tonhi Terenzi won the bronze medal in the individual world championships in 1990 in Lyon , 1993 in Essen and 1995 in The Hague . With the team he first secured silver in 1993 before becoming world champion with her in 1995. In 1998 he also became vice European champion with her in Plovdiv , and the following year she won team bronze. He took part in the Olympic Games three times : in 1992 he took eighth place in the team competition in Barcelona . Four years later he moved into the semi-finals in Atlanta with the team after a win against Germany , in which the Italian team lost to Russia . In the battle for third place, Terenzi together with Raffaello Caserta and Luigi Tarantino prevailed against Poland with 45:37 and thus won the bronze medal. In the individual he reached the 10th place. At the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney , he finished the individual competition in seventh place, while he again finished eighth with the team.
