Toni Kolehmainen (born July 20, 1988 in Oulu ) is a Finnish football player .
Career
societies
Toni Kolehmainen played in the youth of the Blackburn Rovers from 2004 to 2005 . A short time later he moved back to his hometown of Oulu in northern Finland. Kolehmainen first played with Oulun Luistinseura and then with AC Oulu . In 2007 Kolehmainen moved to AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands. There he should only come to a single competitive game of the club from the province of North Holland , trained by Louis van Gaal . In the KNVB Cup , he made his debut in the 2008/09 round of 16 against Achilles '29 . He returned to AC Oulu in 2009 before moving to Turku PS in 2010 . With the club, he managed to win the final of the Finnish Cup and League Cup . At Turku he was able to establish himself in Marko Rajamäki's team and distinguish himself as a regular. In August 2012 he moved to Hønefoss BK in Norway where he met his compatriot Riku Riski .
National team
Toni Kolehmainen made his debut for the Finnish national soccer team in January 2012 against Trinidad and Tobago . Against the team from the Caribbean, the midfielder also scored the premier goal in the shirt of Finland. With the national team Kolehmainen took part in the Baltic Cup 2012 in Estonia, in which he was defeated in the final against Latvia on penalties . Previously, Kolehmainen had scored the opening goal in regular time, but missed on penalties.
