Anthony "Tony" Vogel (* 19th May 1964 in Gravelbourg , Saskatchewan ) is a retired German - Canadian ice hockey player , who for the EC Hedos Munich or Maddogs Munich , BSC Preussen , Eintracht Frankfurt , EV Landshut and Kaufbeurer Adler in ice hockey Bundesliga and German Ice Hockey League (DEL).

Career

Vogel played for the Regina Pats in the Western Hockey League for the first time with Dale Derkatch during his junior years . Within the league moved in the course of his second season to the Kamloops Junior Oilers , where he played with Greg Evtushevski , among others .

For the 1986/87 season he moved to Europe and joined SV Bayreuth . With 31 points in the promotion round, he played a major role in the good performance of his team. This was also seen with the promoted BSC Preussen and brought Vogel for the Bundesliga. After a good first year, things didn't go so well in Berlin in the second season. For the 1989/90 season he moved to promoted EC Hedos Munich . Here he met again on Dale Derkatch, who formed the front row with him and Ken Berry . After a good year in Munich, he moved to Frankfurter Eintracht , only to move on to SB Rosenheim a year later . There he played again with Dale Derkatch.

From the 1992/93 season Vogel played again for the EC Hedos Munich and was able to win the championship title there again at Derkatch's side in 1994 . When the game was stopped in Munich at the end of the year, Vogel ended the season at EV Landshut . In the 1995/96 season he played, again at Derkatch's side, for the Kaufbeurer Adler . The last year of his active career he played in the first division . After ten games at EHC Klostersee , he moved within the league to the Erding Jets .

International

In addition, Vogel completed three missions for the German national team as part of the Germany Cup in 1991 .
