Tröbsdorf is a district of the independent city of Weimar in Thuringia .

Tröbsdorf is located west of the core city of Weimar on the Weimar- Erfurt railway line . The federal highway 7 touches the place east and south. The district covers an area of 2.97 km². On December 31, 2008 it had 1,180 inhabitants. The district mayor is Alfred Rost. The place with its Max Greil settlement is located directly on the B 7 .
history
876 first mentioned as Trebunestorph in the Ingelheim Protocol . The village was first mentioned in a document in the period 1251–1259. The church, which has been documented since 1251, was rebuilt in the 16th and 18th centuries. The pulpit, organ and a lecture cross from the 18th century are all worth seeing .
As part of a district reform , the community of Tröbsdorf was joined on July 1, 1994 from the former district of Weimar to the independent city of Weimar.
