Traidersdorf is a district of Bad Kötzting in the Upper Palatinate district of Cham . Until 1971 it formed an independent municipality.

location

The village is located in the Bavarian Forest , six kilometers southeast of Bad Kötzting . In addition to the loosely built core area, there are several separate individual properties within a radius of a few hundred meters. It is structurally connected to the neighboring district of Steinbühl .

Traidersdorf and its former districts are located in the Zeller Valley , which is bordered by the Kaitersberg in the northeast . A source brook of the Gruberbach coming from the north crosses, partly piped, the place. The national road 2132 Bad Kötzting by rain also leads therethrough.

history

The municipality of Traidersdorf, which existed until the municipal reform of the 1970s , belonged to the Lower Bavarian district of Kötzting . It consisted of the following districts:

On October 1, 1971, it was incorporated into the Kötzting community.

Facilities

The Traidersdorf Volunteer Fire Brigade was founded in 1878, and today's fire station was inaugurated in 1990 .
