Train Simulator is a Japanese railroad simulation series of Ongakukan with musician Minoru Mukaiya as producers. The series is one of the first in its genre, as the first game appeared in 1995. None of the games appeared outside of Japan, except for Railfan: Taiwan High Speed Rail , which has been translated into Chinese and English .
The games only contain Japanese routes and trains, with the exception of four parts with routes in Germany , France , Taiwan and South Korea . Video recordings from the driver's cab are used as a simulation basis. Ongakukan equips its games with many technical details and has also been producing programs for train driver training since 2005.
