The Trans-Oranje Corridor ( German  Trans-Oranje-Fernstraße ), formerly Southern Extension , is a trunk road leading through the SADC states Namibia and South Africa . It connects the port of Walvis Bay and the port of Lüderitz in Namibia with the North Cape Province in South Africa and runs east via Upington to Johannesburg . It has a total length of about 2900 kilometers.

It is one of the most important trade and transport routes in the region.
