The Trans-Cunene Corridor ( German  Trans-Kunene-Fernstraße ), formerly the Trans-Cunene Highway , is a trunk road planned since 1997 , which leads through the SADC states Namibia and Angola . The section between Otjiwarongo in Namibia and Lubango in Angola is also part of the Tripoli-Windhoek (Cape Town) highway .

Namibia

In Namibia, the trunk road is entirely paved and leads from the port of Walvis Bay in the city of the same name via the B2 national road , the C33 main road and the B1 national road to the Oshikango border crossing near Oshikango .

The road is complemented on the Namibian side by the Walvis Bay – Kranzberg , Kranzberg – Otavi, Otavi – Tsumeb and Tsumeb – Oshikango railway lines . A connection to the Angolan rail network is planned.

Angola

The trunk road in Angola leads first as EN120 , then later as EN110 to Lubango. It is only partially developed there. A further expansion to the capital Luanda is planned.
