Triband was a Berlin quartet consisting of the musicians Sandie Wollasch, Tommy Baldu, Sebastian Studnitzky and Michael Paucker. Their music consisted of a mixture of jazz, pop and electronic music.
history
Triband was founded in 2005 by Sandie Wollasch, Tommy Baldu and Sebastian Studnitzky. In the same year their first album No Sleep was released, which they recorded together with musicians such as Joo Kraus , Christian von Kaphengst , Florian Sitzmann , Michael Koschorreck and Edo Zanki .
In 2007, Triband released their second album, Trip . In the same year Triband received the music award of the Association of German Concert Directors for their "original, interesting arrangements between jazz, pop and dance".
On January 30th, 2009 their current album So Together was released, which was recorded in autumn 2008 in Green House Studio in Reykjavík , Iceland .
