Michael Paucker

Michael Paucker (born November 18, 1980 in Stuttgart ; pseudonym: Paucker ; real name: Michael Endersby) is a German musician and lives in Cologne. He appears as an electric bass player, synth bassist and double bass player as well as a singer-songwriter Paucker with various other instruments and as a singer.

Life

Paucker started his musical career at the age of six. At the age of six he first learned to play the violin and piano, before becoming an electric bass player and double bass player at the age of 14. Working with his own bands and composing his own pieces of music has also been an integral part of Paucker's musical work since then.

As the band leader of the young Rhythm'n'Blues band "The Madbout Blues", he was already at the age of 15 as a bassist, lead singer and songwriter on numerous stages, mainly in the state of Baden-Württemberg.

In 2001 Paucker began studying jazz and popular music at the " University of Music and Performing Arts " in Mannheim, which he successfully completed in 2005 with two diplomas (major in electric bass and double bass).

From 2001 he worked in several major musical productions in Stuttgart and won the “Best European Young Musician Competition 2002”. In 2002 there were also some radio broadcasts (including productions for "Deutschlandfunk"), for which Paucker composed the music.

From 2003-2004 Paucker could be seen as a member of the "Deutschland-sucht-den-Superstar" big band on RTL and on tour with the official "Glenn Miller Big Band" and had together with "German Pops Orchestra" (conductor: Bernd Ruf ) Concerts with “Deep Purple” legend Jon Lord and the Staatsphilharmonie Halle (2005: Heinz Rudolf Kunze ), with Barbara Dennerlein and the Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz .

In 2005 the first CD from his own production followed with his band "Lauschleben" ("WIR"), which was released in September 2005 on his own "Lausch label". In 2005 Paucker was also a member of the ambitious German pop band "Königwerq" with whom he also recorded several singles and an LP and released them on Polydor / Universal Music.

In 2006 Paucker became a permanent member of the “IndieJazz” band “ Triband ” and gave concerts with this formation throughout Europe for several years. "Triband" released the second studio album "Trip" in 2007 with Michael Endersby's participation.

In 2007 Paucker moved to Berlin for several years, where he was involved in numerous productions and tours as a studio and live musician, including with the renowned singers Sarah Connor (album “ Soulicious ”), Jocelyn B. Smith and “ Poems for Laila ".

In 2008, further live projects and recordings with Joy Denalane, Thomas D., Laith Al-Deen, Tom Gäbel and “The Dresden Soul Symphonie” ( MDR Symphony Orchestra ) followed. Paucker also became a permanent member of Thomas D's new live band ("Die Fantastischen Vier"), with whom he went on tour for the first time in December 2008.

In 2009-2010 Paucker completed his first solo album “Miserable Junkie”, which was released in March 2010 on the company's own record label “Monohausen Records”, which was also founded in 2009. He also released the third album “So together” with Triband, played bass on Laith Al Deen's studio album “Session” and played other tours and festivals with Thomas D , Joy Denalane , Jazzanova and Max Herre (“Freundeskreis”).

From 2011 Paucker became an integral part of the Lillo Scrimali band on the TV music show "The Voice Of Germany" (until 2013) and played on tours and recordings by various well-known artists, including Joy Denalane, Max Herre, Nena , Roger Cicero , Andreas Kümmert and Stefanie Heinzmann .

In 2013 Paucker took part in Max Herre's "MTV Unplugged Kahedi Radio Show" and was on the road for over two years (until 2015) on numerous large festival stages in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

In 2015–2018, Paucker composed the music for Tedros Teclebrhan's "Teddy Show", produced the album "Golly Gosh" by the British singer Jemma Endersby, and was on tour with Rea Garvey , Xavier Naidoo , Sasha and Michael Mittermeier ("Alive & Swinging"), Joy Denalane (“Gleisdreieck” tour), “ Freundeskreis ” and the poet and singer Julia Engelmann . He also played several series of concerts with the renowned artist group “Das Vereinsheim” and was involved in the production of its live album, as well as in numerous other studio productions by various artists.

Paucker recently announced that he would release a new solo album as a singer / songwriter in 2019, which should build on Paucker's first studio album from 2010 ("Miserable Junkie").
