Triyaningsih (born May 15, 1987 in Semarang ) is an Indonesian long-distance runner .

Athletic career

Triyaningsih gained her first international experience in 2003 when she finished fourth in the 5000 meter run at the Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi in 16: 21.10 minutes . In the following year she reached fourth place over 3000 meters at the Junior Asian Championships in Ipoh in 9: 40.08 min and in 2007 she won the Southeast Asian Games in Nakhon Ratchasima in 15: 54.32 min over 5000 meters and in 34: 07.35 min also in the 10,000 meter run . In 2009 she defended her title at the Southeast Asian Games in Vientiane in 15: 56.79 min and 32: 49.47 min and set a new national record with her time over 10,000 meters. In 2010 she won the Hong Kong Standard Chartered Marathon in 2:47:35 h and then took part in the Asian Games in Guangzhou for the first time, in which she finished ninth over 10,000 meters in 33: 07.45 minutes while she was in 2:31:49 h came in fourth.

At the 2011 Asian Athletics Championships in Kobe she reached sixth place over 5000 meters in 16: 05.18 min and then she was fourth over 10,000 meters in 34: 04.92 min at the Summer Universiade in Shenzhen and was classified over the shorter distance in 16: 26.06 min in tenth place. In November she won the gold medals over 5000 and 10,000 meters again at the Southeast Asian Games in Palembang in 16: 06.37 min and 34:52:74 min. In 2012 she qualified in the marathon for participation in the Olympic Games in London , where she finished 82nd after 2:41:15 h . The following year, she won the Southeast Asian Games in Naypyidaw in 34: 32.8 minutes again in the 10,000-meter run, but had to admit defeat to Myanmar Phyu War Thet over 5000 meters in 16: 24.36 minutes .

After she had not competed in 2014, she won the gold medals over 5000 and 10,000 meters again at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore in 16: 18.06 min and 33: 44.53 min. 2017 it was in the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku in 17: 57,52 min eighth over 5000 meters and then won the 10,000 meters in 36: 39.37 minutes at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur and won over 5000 meters in 17:36, 98 min the bronze medal behind the Vietnamese women Nguyễn Thị Oanh and Phạm Thị Huệ . In 2019 she was fourth over 10,000 meters at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas in 37: 54.18 min.

In 2005, 2007 and 2013 Triyaningsih became Indonesian champion in the 5000 meter run and in 2013 and 2019 over 10,000 meters.
