TroyBoi

TroyBoi (born November 23, 1987 in London , real name Troy Henry ) is a British DJ and music producer . His style can be associated with EDM-Trap , with influences from hip-hop and electronic dance music . He publishes among others with the labels OWSLA , Parlophone and Monstercat .

Live and act

Troy Henry grew up in South London . He originally worked in the real estate industry . He first achieved popularity in 2010 with his publications on the music service SoundCloud . Shortly afterwards he worked as a DJ duo SoundSnoobz with the DJ icekream and was signed by Diplo with the Mad Decent label . Since then, TroyBoi has primarily focused on his solo career.

He gained international fame through various festival appearances, including the Splash! Festival , Dour Festival and New Horizons . The renowned music magazine Billboard called him "one of the coolest stars in the dance world" . The British magazine Mixmag sees him as one of the “best producers of highly musical trap beats” .
