Tumba is a city in the Swedish province of Stockholm County and the historic province of Södermanland . The city is the capital of the Botkyrka municipality . history

The settlement was built at a railway stop. The old station ( ABBA shot the video for The Day Before You Came here ) was replaced by a modern train station at the end of the 20th century. At the same time, the center of the place was adapted to today's requirements.

The Swedish Reichsbank paper mill has been located in Tumba since 1755 . The global mechanical engineering company Alfa Laval is also based here.
