Company history
The company was founded in 1982 by ÖIAG (Austrian State Industry). For the first time, TMS was managed under the Integrated Systems division of VOEST Alpine Maschinenbau. In 1989, the sub-division of transport and assembly systems was founded for the first time under the company VA Steinel. In 1991 there was a restructuring and conversion into a stock corporation . VA Steinel was transformed into VA Technologie AG within the MCE Group. In 1994, TMS established its current location on Gaisbergerstrasse in Linz. In addition to the new company location, offices were established in Gersthofen , Kassel , Wolfsburg and Sindelfingen in Germany . In 2001 TMS Transport- und Montagesysteme GmbH was sold to the VINCI group from France. In 2006 TMS was sold to the Valiant group of companies based in Windsor , Canada . At the end of 2013, the name was changed to TMS Turnkey Manufacturing Solutions. In 2017 the Valiant TMS group of companies was sold to the HCD group. The company locations in Gersthofen, Kassel and Wolfsburg were closed. The branch offices in Sarleinsbach Austria and Augsburg in Germany, as well as the branches in Cologne in Germany and Gliwice in Poland were founded .

- Body shop
