International Springer Meeting Cottbus

Internationales Springer-Meeting (short: Springer-Meeting) is the name of a high and pole vault meeting that has been held annually since 2003, usually in January in the Lausitz-Arena in Cottbus . The competitions take place in the men's pole vault and the women's high jump. For years it has been one of the TOP 5 global indoor meetings in this format. The 15th Springer Meeting took place in January 2017. The organization is subject to the organization team around meeting director Ulrich Hobeck, which also organized the International Lusatian Athletics Meeting in Cottbus. For many athletes, the Springer Meeting is the first international competition at the beginning of the year.
