You leave Tarija in a westerly direction via the Puente San Martin, which crosses the Río Nuevo Guadalquivir and is called Av. Héroes de la Independencia between the two districts of San Martin in the north and Senac in the south. On the outskirts, the road turns in a south-westerly direction and after a total of nine kilometers it reaches Turumayo and continues via Lazareto and Guerra Huayco to the town of San Andrés .
