Walker has been participating in the Ticket to Ride World Snowboard Tour competitions since 2009 . She got her first podium finishes in January 2009 at the Burton European Junior Open in Laax with third place on the halfpipe and first place in slopestyle. In the 2009/10 season she finished second on the halfpipe and first in slopestyle at the Burton European Junior Open. In March 2010, she won the slopestyle at the Burton AM Series in Waterville Valley . The following season she won in slopestyle and on the halfpipe at the Burton European Junior Open in Laax and in slopestyle at the Northern Vermont Series in Bolton Valley . In early February 2011 she came in third place in slopestyle at the Burton Canadian Open in Calgary . Two months later she became the national champion in slopestyle. In December 2011 she won slopestyle on the US Revolution Tour in Copper Mountain . At the following Snowboard World Championships in Oslo , she achieved ninth place in slopestyle.
At the beginning of the 2012/13 season she came in third place in slopestyle at the Burton High Fives in Snow Park . She drove her first FIS World Cup race in January 2013 in Copper Mountain , which she finished in 26th place in slopestyle. In the same month, she reached fifth place in slopestyle at the 2013 Snowboard World Championships in Stoneham . In March 2013 she won the Slopestyle at the Nescafé Champs in Leysin and was again national champion in Slopestyle. She finished the season in tenth place in the overall tour standings. At her first Olympic participation in Sochi in 2014 , she finished 14th in slopestyle. At the beginning of the 2014/15 season, she won her first FIS World Cup in Big Air in Istanbul . At the 2015 Snowboard World Championships on Kreischberg , she took 20th place in Slopestyle and 14th place in Big Air competition. In the FIS Freestyle overall ranking she came in fifth and in the Big Air ranking she came in second. At the Snowboard World Championships 2017 in Sierra Nevada , she achieved 27th place in slopestyle and 12th place in big air.
