Tyler Sean Labine (born April 29, 1978 in Brampton , Ontario ) is a Canadian actor .

Life

At the beginning of his career, Tyler Labine was mostly in guest appearances in television series such as The X Files - The Scary Cases of the FBI or Millennium - Fear of Seeing Your Neighbor as Yourself and played supporting roles in films such as Generation X , Startup and Flyboys - Heroes of the Skies .

In 2005 he took on one of the leading roles in the ABC science fiction series Invasion , which was canceled after only one season. This was followed by a recurring role in Boston Legal . Labine starred in the fantasy series Reaper from 2007 to 2009, opposite Bret Harrison and Ray Wise . In 2010 he was seen in the horror comedy Tucker and Dale vs Evil as one of the two eponymous protagonists and in the short-lived comedy series Sons of Tucson . In 2011 he starred in the sitcom Mad Love alongside Jason Biggs and Sarah Chalke , and from 2014 to 2016 he starred in the Hulu fantasy / comedy series Deadbeat .

Labine has been married to actress Carrie Ruscheinsky since 2008 .
