Tysmenytschany ( Ukrainian Тисменичани ; Russian Тысменичаны Tysmenitschany , Polish Tyśmieniczany ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Ivano-Frankivsk with about 3000 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1437, is the only place of the same name, 26.916 km² large district council in the north of the Rajon Nadwirna .
The village is located in the east of the historical Galicia on the bank of the Bystryzja Nadvirnjanska 19 km north of the Rajon center Nadvirna and 19 km south of the Oblast center Ivano-Frankivsk . The T-09-06 territorial road runs through the village . Tysmenytschany has a train station on the Sighetu Marmației – Ivano-Frankivsk railway .
