The Alaudagasse underground station in Vienna's 10th district is a station on the U1 line of the Vienna underground . It was opened on September 2, 2017. It is part of the extension of the U1 from Reumannplatz to Therme Wien in Oberlaa .

Like most of the extension, the station is located on or under Favoritenstraße, which runs in north-south direction and is named after the Alaudagasse branching off here on the northern edge of Per-Albin-Hansson-Siedlung Ost , which is located east of the route. To the west of the station is the Per-Albin-Hansson-Siedlung Nord. With the opening of the extension of the U1, the tram line 67, which had run here until then, was discontinued; it served the Alaudagasse and Stockholmer Platz stops in the area of the station. The station is equipped with a central platform in a simple lower position, which can be reached at both ends via fixed stairs and an elevator. On the other side of Favoritenstraße there is a bus station, from which several lines lead to the surrounding districts. The station is the final stop around every second train on the U1.

South of the Alaudagasse station, the U1, which previously ran along Favoritenstrasse, turns off in the direction of Oberlaa and now runs above ground parallel to the Donauländebahn to Therme Wien . A double-track turning system was built here as a preparation for a line bifurcation. This means that the originally planned route of the U1 to Rothneusiedl is still possible.
