The UHC chub 06 is a German floorball -Verein from Saxon Doebeln ( mittelsachsen ). The first men's team played in the 2nd floorball Bundesliga until the 2018/19 season . Furthermore, an U17, U15, U13 and U11 team take part in the game. There is also a U100 and a U9 team to promote popular sport, but they do not take part in the game.

From November 1 to November 3, 2013 UHC Döbeln 06 hosted the 2013 Women's Nations Cup, where four women's national teams met in Döbeln. After eight thrilling games, Latvia was able to take home the tournament victory.

history

In March 2001, a floorball section was founded in the WSG Döbeln Nord association . On June 28, 2006, the UHC Döbeln 06 was founded as an independent association. At the beginning of 2009 the association had 80 members.

The U19 team became German runners-up on the big field in 2004/05, and a year later the U19s won the German championship. In this season of the first men's team achieved the championship in the 2. Bundesliga and thus promotion to the 1. Bundesliga . In the 2009/10 season , the team did not manage to stay relegated and thus played second class again in 2010/11 . In return, the club reached the final of the Floorball Germany Cup in May 2011 . In the game against UHC Weißenfels, however, Döbeln lost 7:14.

The direct resurgence of the men succeeded in 2011 . After keeping the class in 2012 and 2013 , the next relegation followed in 2014 .

In September 2018 the association had 135 members.

After a 9th place in the 2018/2019 season , the UHC was relegated to the third-class Regionalliga Ost .
