Union Sportive Sandweiler is a Luxembourg football club based in Sandweiler .
history
The association was founded in 1937. During the German occupation of Luxembourg in World War II , it was renamed FV Sandweiler in 1940 . In 1944 it was renamed back to the founding name.
In 2010, the club missed the promotion to the honorary doctorate by a 0-1 in the barrage game against FC Minerva Lintgen .
In 2012, US Sandweiler secured the championship in the 1st Division - 2nd District and was promoted to an honorary doctorate for the first time in the club's history.
