Uhlmann is a manufacturer of machines for the packaging and cartoning of pharmaceuticals in foil or aluminum packs, so-called blisters and pharmaceutical bottles in Laupheim in the Biberach district .

history

In 1948, the company's founder, Josef Uhlmann, began producing precision molds for suppositories . His son Friedrich joined the company in 1963 and turned his father's craft business into a mechanical engineering company. After Friedrich Uhlmann's death in 1994, his wife Hedwig Uhlmann continued the tradition of the family business. Since April 1, 2007, her son Tobias Uhlmann has been Chairman of the Uhlmann Supervisory Board .

Products

Blister machines

The product portfolio includes systems for the economical production of small and medium-sized batches as well as for blockbuster production and blister machines for solid products such as tablets, capsules or dragees and for liquid products such as ampoules, vials, cartridges or syringes.

Cartoning machine

In addition to blisters, the cartoners also pack bottles, vials, bags, tubes and other pharmaceutical products in folding boxes. Feeds for individual product additions such as B. brochures, measuring spoons, pipettes are possible.

Final packaging systems

The product range of the end-of-line packaging systems includes stretch banders for banded and shrunk containers, a full wrap machine for containers with heat-sealable film, carton packers for packing folding boxes or containers in shipping boxes and palletizers for stacking packaged goods on pallets.

Bottle lines

The systems pack tablets and capsules in bottles. In these pharmaceutical-compliant packaging lines, bottle packaging functions are integrated, from supplying the desiccant to filling tablets and sealing the bottles.
