Ulla Heise

Ulla Heise (* 1946 in Regis-Breitingen ) is a German author , journalist and editor .

Life

After completing her studies, Ulla Heise worked as a lecturer in publishing houses for art and cultural history from 1971.

Since 1987 she has been working as a freelance author of non-fiction books on gastronomy and contemporary history .

Heise has made a name for herself internationally as a coffee and coffee house historian, as an expert in coffee and cultural history (for example in Japan as Haize, Ura ウ ラ ・ ハ イ ゼ), for wine and beer as well as for the diverse products associated with these luxury foods Culture and tradition.

Ulla Heise has lived in Leipzig since 1965 .
