Anna Ulrica Persson (born March 7, 1975 in Torsby ) is a former Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Persson, who competed for Luleå Gjutarens IF , SK Bore and Sunne SK , had her debut in the World Cup in Falun in March 1999 , which she finished classically in 47th place over 15 km. The following year she was fourth in the Wasalauf . In 2001 and 2003 she won this run. She also won the 2003 Tjejvasan . She achieved fourth place in the 2000/01 season and sixth place in the overall ranking of the Marathon Cup in the 2002/03 season . At the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City , she started in the classic mass start race over 30 km, which she ended prematurely. In December 2002 she got her first World Cup points in Ramsau am Dachstein with 29th place in the skiathlon . In the 2003/04 season she was second in the Jizera Mountains Run and fifth in the König-Ludwig-Lauf and thus achieved eighth place in the overall ranking of the Marathon Cup. In March 2005, she finished second in the Wasalauf. The following year she achieved her best individual placement in the World Cup with 24th place in the 45 km mass start race in Mora and completed her 19th and thus last World Cup individual race in Gällivare , which she finished in 83rd place over 10 km freestyle.
