Ulrich Blöcher

Ulrich Blöcher (* 1973 in Villingen-Schwenningen ) is a German actor and speaker.

Life

Blöcher grew up in his hometown Villingen-Schwenningen. From 1998 to 2002 he studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . During his training he performed in first roles at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin and at the bat studio theater .

In his early years as a stage actor, Blöcher had theater engagements at the Neue Theater Halle (2002), the Caroussel Theater Berlin (2003–2005), the Staatstheater Cottbus (2005–2006) and the Neue Bühne Senftenberg (2006–2008). On these stages he performed a. a. as a groom in a petty bourgeois wedding (2002; Neues Theater Halle), as a pilot in Der kleine Prinz (2003; Caroussel Theater Berlin), as Templar in Nathan der Weise (2003; Caroussel Theater Berlin), as Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet (2005; Caroussel Theater Berlin), as Marquis von Posa in Don Karlos (2005; Staatstheater Cottbus), as Bassanio in Der Kaufmann von Venedig (2006; Staatstheater Cottbus), as Ossip in Der Revisor (2006; Neue Bühne Senftenberg, director: Ursula Karusseit ) and as Hofmarschall von Kalb in Kabale und Liebe (2008; Staatstheater Cottbus).

From 2008 to 2013 he worked as a freelance actor, initially with piece contracts at the Konstanz Theater , where he played the Scottish nobleman Lenox in Macbeth (2009) and the young lover Armand Duval in The Lady of the Camellias (2011). This was followed by engagements with independent theaters in Berlin and at the Greifswald / Stralsund Theater (2012; as Spanish captain Pedro de Alvarado in The White Savior ). In 2012 and 2013 he appeared at the Waren Freiluftspiele (summer theater goods) as Wolf von Warentin in the Müritz saga .

From 2013 to 2015 he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Schauspielhaus Chemnitz , where he a. a. Starred in plays by Woody Allen , Ray Cooney , Antoine Rault and Jean Anouilh (as the Inquisitor in Jeanne or The Lark ). Since 2015 he has been working as a freelance actor again.

Since 2003, Blöcher has also been in front of the camera for film and television. In Dominik Graf's feature film The Beloved Sisters (2014) he played the Schiller publisher Johann Friedrich Cotta . In the television film Käthe Kruse (first broadcast: 2015) he was seen in a short theater scene as a young fellow actor from Käthe Kruse's early years as an actress.

He had u. a. Episodic roles in the television series and television series Sperling (2004; as a young Hans Sperling in a filmic flashback), SOKO Wismar (2007; as perpetrator Udo Zilowski), In All Friendship (2012; as class teacher Michael Wolf), Schloss Einstein (2013; as a ferret breeder Biesenthal) and cheerful to fatal: Ex files (2013; as a taxi driver Roland Hässler). He was seen in two episode roles in the ZDF series SOKO Leipzig : in 2009 as Rolf Pittschke, who deals in pharmaceuticals, and in 2012 as Dr. Gregor Struck, where he represented the founder and chairman of an association of “concerned citizens”. Blöcher is the father of three daughters. He is a member of the Federal Drama Association (BFFS) and lives in Chemnitz and Berlin.
