Ulrich Knellwolf

Ulrich Knellwolf (born August 17, 1942 in Niederbipp , Canton of Bern ) is a Swiss pastor and crime writer.

Life

Ulrich Knellwolf grew up in Zurich and Olten , attended the canton school in Solothurn and then studied Protestant theology at the University of Basel , the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn and the University of Zurich . In 1990 he was awarded a doctorate degree in Zurich with a thesis on Jeremias Gotthelf's narrative theology ( parable and general priesthood. theol. PhD.

From 1969 he worked as a reformed pastor, first in Urnäsch and Zollikon and finally from 1984 to 1996 at the Predigerkirche in Zurich. He then became an employee of the Diakoniewerk Neumünster Zollikerberg Foundation . He lives in Zollikon. In 2006/2007 he spoke the “Word for Sunday” on Swiss television (SF).
