Ulrich Reinthaller

Ulrich Reinthaller (born August 28, 1964 in Vienna ) is an Austrian theater, film and television actor.

Training and initial engagements

Ulrich Reinthaller was born the son of an architect. As a child, he gained his first stage experience as a member of the Mozart Boys' Choir at numerous opera and concert appearances. From 1981 to 1984 he trained as an actor at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna . Subsequently, in 1984/85 he belonged to the ensemble of the Theater in der Josefstadt , received guest engagements at the Vienna Volkstheater and was a member of the Vienna Burgtheater from 1985 to 1993 .

Movie and TV

Reinthaller made his screen debut in 1985 in the title role of the drama Lieber Karl by Maria Knilli , which received the German Film Prize for best director and for which he was invited to the Cannes International Film Festival .

Reinthaller's best-known television roles include the doctor Dr. Markus Kampmann in the television series Hello, Uncle Doc! , which he embodied from 1994 to 1998 and for which he was awarded the Bambi in 1995 for the best leading role in a medical series (readers' choice). Before and after he was seen in numerous film and television productions. Among other things, Reinthaller slipped into the role of a doctor once again in 1999 as part of the series Klinik unter Palmen .

Reinthaller has appeared in recitation and reading performances since 2002 and has been on various stages with the one-person piece dir to celebrate since 2004 .

Dialogikum Phoenixberg

In 2009 he built the Seminar.Kunst.Haus Phönixberg . After starting seminars two years later, he opened the Dialogikum Phönixberg in 2013 .

Private

Reinthaller has been married to the book author Barbara Pachl-Eberhart since June 12, 2015. He lives in Vienna and Rabenstein an der Pielach . He has two children from his divorced marriage with actress Regina Fritsch . Their daughter Alina Fritsch is also an actress.

In March 2017 the daughter Erika Johanna was born from the marriage with Barbara Reinthaller (Pachl-Eberhart).
