Ulrich Reuter (* 27. July 1962 in Aschaffenburg ) is a German politician ( CSU ) and was from 2002 to 2020 District Administrator of the district Aschaffenburg .

Life

Reuter attended the Friedrich-Dessauer-Gymnasium in Aschaffenburg and reached secondary school there in 1978 . From 1978 to 1981 he completed an apprenticeship at the Aschaffenburg District Office as an administrative clerk . From 1981 to 1983 he attended the Obernburg technical college. After obtaining the advanced technical college entrance qualification , he studied from 1983 to 1985 at the Bavarian civil service college . Reuter worked from 1986 to 1988 as a legal clerk at the district court of Aschaffenburg . In addition, from 1987 to 1989 he completed a part-time law degree at the University of Würzburg . 1990 doctorate he became Dr. jur. at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . In 1991 he passed the second state examination and immediately started working in a commercial law firm in Frankfurt am Main . From 1992 to 2001, Reuter worked as a lawyer and senior executive at Deutsche Bank .

During this time, from 1996 to 1998, he completed a part-time second degree in international management at the University of Toronto , which he completed with a Master of Business Administration . In 2001 he became professor for public law and European business law at the Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences . From 2002 to 2020 he was District Administrator of the Aschaffenburg district . In the course of his election to this office, he gave up his professorship. By assuming the office of President of the Bavarian Savings Banks Association on January 1, 2021, he did not run again in the 2020 local elections.

Reuter has been married since 1987 and has two children, a son and a daughter.
