Ulrike

Ulrike is a female given name that goes back to the male given name Ulrich . It comes from Old High German ; there uodal means “hereditary property, home” and rihhi “rich”. It has been widespread in aristocratic circles especially since the 18th century. Since the beginning of the 20th century, it became popular due to its increased use in newspaper and magazine novels.
