Foundations

As a Wella co-heir, Ulrike Crespo founded the Crespo Chamber Music Foundation in 1998 , with which she has since enabled the Kronberg Academy projects “Chamber Music Connects the World” and “With Music - Together” . In 2004 Ulrike Crespo founded the “Crespo Foundation”, another foundation that promotes educational projects. Both foundations have now been merged to form the Crespo Foundation . She donated large parts of the sales proceeds of the family-owned Wella Group. With her foundation she supports people who have unfavorable starting conditions but want to shape their own career. For example, model projects were developed in the vocational and cultural education of women with a migration background . In Vienna, the foundation initiated the START scholarship program for committed students with a migration background. In addition to migrants, the target groups also include children and families. Together with the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts , the foundation has been implementing the Primacanta project since 2008 , a further training project for music teachers at Frankfurt primary schools, which aims to introduce all Frankfurt primary school students to active and joyful music-making through singing. One of the ways in which the foundation is involved in promoting artists is by supporting the open mike literary competition .
