Ulrike Königsberger-Ludwig (born May 12, 1965 in Linz ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and since March 22, 2018 State Councilor in the Lower Austrian provincial government Mikl-Leitner II . From 2002 to 2018 she was a member of the National Council .

education and profession

Königsberger-Ludwig attended the Gresten elementary school from 1971 to 1975 and then the Gresten secondary school until 1979. In 1979 she moved to the Bundesoberstufenrealgymnasium Scheibbs , where she passed the Matura in 1983.

Königsberger-Ludwig worked from 1985 to 1986 as a cashier and saleswoman at Bipa and then from 1989 to 1991 in purchasing at Kone-Sowitsch and from 1988 to 1989 clerk at IBM Süd West Informationstechnik . Ulrike Königsberger-Ludwig was section chairman of the SPÖ Amstetten from 1998 to 2011 (Sections South and South-East). In 2000 she was elected city councilor for the municipality of Amstetten, where she has been responsible for culture - and since 2010 also for youth. On October 11, 2011, she was elected Vice Mayor of the city of Amstetten. Königsberger-Ludwig has been deputy city party chairwoman of the SPÖ Amstetten since 2000 and was elected district party chairwoman of the SPÖ Amstetten in 2003. Since March 2009 Ulrike Königsberger-Ludwig is district party chairman of the SPÖ district Amstetten. From 2003 to 2009 she was also the district chairwoman - since May 2009 she has been a deputy.

Ulrike Königsberger-Ludwig was elected to the Austrian National Council on December 20, 2002. Since then, the deputy has been a member of the federal executive committee of the SPÖ women as well as the executive committee of the SPÖ regional women and the state party executive committee of the SPÖ Lower Austria. She was the disability spokeswoman for the SPÖ in the National Council.

Since March 19, 2008 Ulrike Königsberger-Ludwig has been the chairwoman of the regional association of Volkshilfe Amstetten.

After changing to the state government Mikl-Leitner II as state councilor for health, social affairs and youth welfare, Renate Gruber succeeded her in the national council.

Private

Königsberger-Ludwig is married for the second time and has two sons.
