Stephan Pernkopf (born August 17, 1972 in Wieselburg ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and since April 19, 2017 1st Deputy Governor of Lower Austria as well as Provincial Councilor for the Environment, Agriculture, Energy, Provincial Clinics and Fire Brigades in the Provincial Government of Lower Austria . He is also chairman of the Lower Austrian Farmers' Union .

Life

In September 2018 he was nominated to succeed Hermann Schultes as chairman of the Lower Austrian Farmers' Union , and in March 2019 he was elected chairman.

Stephan Pernkopf has been married since 2011.
