Ulrike Seyboth (* 1970 in Schneeberg , Erzgebirge ) is a German painter .

Life

From 1992 Ulrike Seyboth studied painting at the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art (diploma) and in 1999 became a master class student with Dieter Goltzsche . In 1995 she received a six-month ERASMUS grant in Salamanca and from 1999 to 2000 a scholarship from the Berlin Senate for Culture at the Cité Internationale des Arts de Paris . She lived and worked in Montreuil and Bourgogne until 2009 . This period had a lasting impact on her work.

In 2011 she started a collaboration with the sculptor and draftsman Ingo Fröhlich , with whom she has been realizing the exhibition series I draw the time, you paint the moment in various places around the world as atelier vagabond since 2012 .

In 2014, together with Ingo Fröhlich, she founded the association Torstrasse 111 - Forum for Contemporary Art Berlin e. V. and is significantly involved in the management and curatorial work in the gallery rooms of the art and project house, which received a publication grant from the Kunstfonds Bonn in 2019.

Ulrike Seyboth lives in Berlin and in the French Languedoc . She is a member of the Association of Berlin Women Artists 1867 e. V. (VdBK).

Ulrike Seyboth's main focus is painting on paper and canvas. Her pictures have been shown in large public exhibitions and are represented in private and public collections, including the Jena Art Collection .
