Content and title list
In terms of content, this long player is about the unsteady life of the band, which brings with it both very nice experiences through traveling, but inevitably also loneliness and homesickness. "The contrast of light and shadow, of happiness and darkness is a style element that has always played an important role for Samu Haber and Sunrise Avenue when creating music."

Reviews
Ampya.com certifies the band that, as always with Unholy Ground , they have once again implemented their maxim of putting emphasis on honesty and authenticity without any lazy compromises. They write: “Whether with banjos and harmonica on the campfire rocker I Can Break Your Heart , the haunting loneliness hymn Hurtsville , the semi-acoustic comfort ballad Don't Cry (Don't Think About It) or the bombastic widescreen pop von Letters in the Sand - Sunrise Avenue master perfectly what makes good, fresh and modern pop rock today ”.
laut.de rates the album as follows: “Does country define itself in Finland by the mere brief insertion of three banjo pickings from the retort (I Can Break Your Heart) ? Is the Power Chords riff parked in the same song supposed to be a wink to the Southern Rock stake? ”The“ surprising style elements ”announced in Universal's press release cannot be mentioned.
For Plattentest.de the album is “a collection of empty, empty templates, music to get used to”.
Rock-Fanatics.de writes: "A mixture of rock and pop, songs that range from ballads to mid-tempo and catchy melodies." Catchy tunes are guaranteed, and the recognition value is given not least by Samu Haber's soft and distinctive voice. The only thing out of the series is I Can Break Your Heart . The song already has clear country influences through its banjo intro.
