text

In the song, the lyric I says goodbye to the Los Angeles region and lets the Hollywood Hills villa district stand for the attitude towards life and its love for the city. At the beginning, the neighborhood is lyrically referred to as the end of the rainbow, where no one can be sad. However, the protagonist has to go back to his home on the other side of the ocean. He will miss the Hollywood Hills if he moves on but will come back to walk their streets again.

In the following stanzas he recalls his wonderful experiences there. Finally, the protagonist expresses his hope of returning one day, but also his fear that in the distance his love for the Hollywood Hills will wane.

In the video, the lyrics are replayed in part: the group celebrates the farewell to Los Angeles. It is implied that she will then fly to Europe by plane. In an alternative and shorter version, which is often broadcast by VIVA , they hitchhike . The official version of the video was filmed at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin . The video was directed by Pekka Hara.
