The União das Freguesias de Arcos de Valdevez (São Paio) e Giela is a Portuguese municipality ( Portuguese Freguesia ) in the district ( Portuguese concelho ) Arcos de Valdevez in northwestern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of São Paio and Giela . São Paio became the seat of the new administration.
