The União das Freguesias de São Jorge e Ermelo is a Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) Arcos de Valdevez in northwestern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of São Jorge and Ermelo . São Jorge became the seat of the new administration.
