The União das Freguesias de Álvora e Loureda is a Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) Arcos de Valdevez in northwestern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities Álvora and Loureda . Álvora became the seat of the new administration.
