The Useless (even Unnutze called) one are mountain range northeast of the Achen between Achenkirch and Steinberg am Rofan in the Brandenberg Alps in Tyrol , Austria .
The mountain range consists of three peaks and runs in a north-south direction. The peaks are the Hinterunnütz ( 2007 m ), the Hochunnütz ( 2075 m ) and the Vorderunnütz ( 2078 m ). In general, however, the front useless is referred to as useless.
Climbs
The useless are climbed from Steinberg over the Steinberger Kotalm in three hours. The ascent is also possible from the Kögljochsattel in an hour and a quarter and from Achenkirch via the Reineralm in four hours.
