Ursula Bredlinger

Ursula Bredlinger (* 24. October 1973 in Eisenstadt as Ursula Filzwieser ) is an Austrian long-distance runner .

Career

It has held the Austrian U-23 records for the half marathon (1:22:42 h) and the marathon (2:51:18 h) since 1995 .

In 2007 she set her personal best as second on the half-marathon route of the Vienna City Marathon with 1:18:07 h and was second overall and Austrian marathon runner-up behind Eva-Maria Gradwohl in the Salzburg Marathon in 2:48:10 h .

In 2008 she was the overall winner of the marathon in the three-country corner in 2:49:06 h Austrian champion.
She defended her title the following year as the overall winner of the Salzburg Marathon in 2:49:20 h. She was also national champion in October 2009 at the half marathon in Eisenstadt with a time of 1:20:28 h. At the Florence Marathon she finished seventh in 2:43:56 h, improving her personal record by more than four minutes.

AHS teacher Bredlinger starts for the Burgenland Eisenstadt running team.
