Ursula Koellner

Ursula Köllner (born April 18, 1920 in Gießen ; † August 21, 1995 ) was a German actress .

Life

Ursula Köllner received her artistic training in Frankfurt am Main towards the end of the 1930s . She made her debut in Wuppertal ; This was followed by engagements at stages in Graudenz and Bremen during the Second World War . She then worked as a freelance artist for a few years.

From 1958 Köllner was engaged as a theater actress at the Landesbühne Rhein-Main , from which the Frankfurt Theater am Turm later emerged. There she appeared as Babett in the folk piece with music Sturm auf die Konstablerwache by Ernst Nebhut and Gerhard Jussenhoven ; the production was also recorded for television and broadcast in some regional programs in August 1965. Later also played at the Theater am Turm; In February 1969 she took over the role of Mrs. Libere in the play The Black Swan by Martin Walser in a production by Claus Peymann . In 1989 she appeared at the Frankfurt Volkstheater together with Liesel Christ in the comedy Dehaam is Dehaam . Köllner worked as a theater actress in Frankfurt am Main until the beginning of the 1990s .

From 1960 Köllner played in a total of 26 episodes the role of "always frustrated", compliant and jealously guarding her boss, chief secretary Else Sauerberg in the family series Die Firma Hesselbach . Köllner worked continuously in the series from episode 4. She replaced her cousin Hilde Sauerberg (played by actress Käte Jaenicke ), who had left the company , in the series . Köllner had already participated in the movie Mr. Hesselbach und die Firma (1956). Köllner, who continued to work at the Landesbühne Rhein-Main during the filming of the series (1960–1963) , commuted back and forth between the theater stage and the television studio during this time.

After completing the filming of the series Die Firma Hesselbach , Köllner played theater again. She also worked as a radio play speaker. She took on a few other television roles. In 1970 she was seen as a mother in the television film Weg vom Fenster , a production by Rainer Werner Fassbinder's production company antiteater-X-film , directed by Michael Fengler . In 1971 she had a role in the crime scene episode On the Open Road as Erna , a work colleague of the victim. She also had a small role in 1976 in the multi-part television series The Winter That Was a Summer, directed by Fritz Umgelter .

The actress was widowed at an early age and had a daughter.
