Ursula Lazarus

Ursula Lazarus (born September 19, 1942 in Baden-Baden ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1992 to 2011 she was a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament .

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1961, Lazarus studied mathematics and physics in Freiburg and Innsbruck . In 1968 she completed her studies with the second state examination. She then worked as a teacher at the Tullagymnasium in Rastatt until 1983 . After that she was deputy headmistress at the Windeck-Gymnasium in Bühl until 1992 .

politics

In 1975 Lazarus was elected to the municipal council of Baden-Baden. There she has also chaired the CDU parliamentary group since 1989. 1977–1990 she was district chairwoman of the women's union , since 1979 she has been deputy chairwoman of the CDU district association. In 1992 Lazarus was elected to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg, to which she belonged until 2011. She represented constituency 33 (Baden-Baden) and was deputy chairwoman of the finance committee.

Other engagement

Ursula Lazarus works as a curator at the Baden-Baden Eberhard Schöck Foundation . She is also the second deputy chairwoman of the SWR Broadcasting Council .
