The Usman ( Russian У́смань , also У́сманка (Usmanka)) is a left tributary of the Voronezh in the Russian oblasts of Lipetsk and Voronezh .

The Usman rises on the Oka-Don Plain in the south of Lipetsk Oblast, about halfway between the cities of Grjasi and Usman . It flows in a south-southwest direction into the Voronezh Oblast. It flows through the city of the same name Usman. In the lower reaches the river curves to the west and finally to the north. The Usman takes the Chawa (Ха́ва) from the left at the southernmost point of its river . Shortly thereafter, the river passes the Novaya Usman settlement and flows east past the city of Voronezh . In the vicinity of the urban-type Ramon settlement , the Usman finally meets the Voronezh River on the left after 151 km. The Usman drains an area of 2840 km². It is mainly fed by the snowmelt . The river is frozen between the beginning of December and the end of March.
