Uta M. Feser

Uta Maria Feser (born July 11, 1959 in Nuremberg ) is a German economist and university professor. She has been Professor of Health Management at the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences since 2000 and its President since 2006 .

Life

Uta M. Feser graduated from the Melanchthon-Gymnasium in Nuremberg in 1978 . She studied business and social education at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg , where she completed her training as a qualified commercial teacher. After her doctorate as Dr. rer. pole. From 1989 to 1995 she worked as an academic adviser at the Chair for General Insurance and Banking Management at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Then she was head of the business administration department and controlling of theEuropean Clinic Treuhand und Management-AG (EKT AG) in Henfenfeld and from 1997 to 2000 team leader clinic management at Rödl & Partner Consulting AG .

From 2000 to 2006, Uta M. Feser professor of health management and scientific director of the MBA - postgraduate study program "Business Administration for doctors" at the University of Ulm. She was also a lecturer in health economics and hospital management at Ulm University .

On March 15, 2006, she took up her post as President of the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences, which she will hold for a third term until 2021 after being re-elected in December 2015.

At the beginning of 2016, Feser was elected as the new chairman of the university association "Hochschule Bayern eV" in the Vöhlinschloss university center in Illertissen , on whose board she had been deputy chairwoman for four years since 2012.

Awards

On June 27, 2018, she received the Bavarian Order of Merit .
