Uwe Dulias

Uwe Dulias (born September 4, 1956 ) is a German journalist and development editor-in-chief of the Madsack media group .

Life

Uwe Dulias began his journalistic work with a traineeship at the Hildesheimer Allgemeine Zeitung . He then worked as a sports reporter for the BILD newspaper. He was initially responsible for HSV reporting, later switched to the Hamburg desk as a dispatcher .

In 1987 Wolfgang Clement brought him to the Hamburger Morgenpost and together with Michael Schickel made him head of sports at the newspaper. Schickel and Dulias wrote the FC St. Pauli book together 1-0 at Millerntor .

In 1990 Wieland Sandmann brought him to Berlin. As deputy editor-in-chief, Uwe Dulias formed the tabloid Berliner Kurier from the former GDR newspaper BZ in the evening . In 1993 he returned to Hamburg and took over the Hamburger Morgenpost as Manfred von Thien's deputy. In 1995 he followed the call of Axel Springer Verlag . At first he headed the Hamburg editorial team of the WELT Hamburg Group , later he took care of the complete edition together with Matthias Döpfner. In 1999, Claus Larass appointed him to the BILD editor-in-chief. Despite the major fire at the printing plant in Kettwig , BILD was able to keep the circulation stable during this time. With Udo Röbel as editor-in-chief, Uwe Dulias developed Bild.de and initiated the cooperation between Bild.de and T-Online .

After his time at BILD, Uwe Dulias first founded the Hamburg Media.Company , then the consulting agency DMS-Media and advised the publishers Ringier and Gruner + Jahr on their newspaper businesses in Eastern Europe. During this time Dulias founded CZ-Sport in Prague, Nemzetti Sport in Hungary, Evenimentul Zilei , Adevărul , Click and ProSport in Bucharest and Blic in Belgrade.

In 2006 Dulias also became active as a publisher. After the “ Orange Revolution ” he founded the newspaper Blikk in Kiev with Christoph Rohner and Michaelpfad , which was later sold to the Swiss publisher Ringier. Two years later, Dulias began working as an editor for a private investment group, Klima-Magazin, which was discontinued after five issues.

When Apple launched the iPad , Dulias founded the app forge Apptory with the former Bild editor-in-chief Udo Röbel . Uwe Dulias was nominated for the Grimme Prize for the Frankfurter Rundschau app . In 2012 Madsack managing director Thomas Düffert brought the journalist to Hanover . Uwe Dulias is responsible for the new developments in the print and digital area at the media group and is the managing director of the editorial network Germany .
