Uwe Oswald (* 1953 in Gorndorf near Saalfeld ) is a German painter and sculptor .
Life
From 1975 to 1980 Uwe Oswald studied painting at the University of Art and Music in Bremen . Since 2011 Oswald has been teaching art / graphics and sculpture at the University of Vechta . The artist currently lives in Barnstorf .

Uwe Oswald makes wood and stone sculptures , clay sculptures , bronze sculptures , paintings , drawings and etchings .
A particularly high concentration of sculptures by Oswald can be found in the municipality of Goldenstedt in the district of Vechta , where the artist lived for a long time.
