Valdemar Rodrigues Martins , called Oreco (born June 13, 1932 in Santa Maria , Rio Grande do Sul , † April 3, 1985 in Ituverava , São Paulo ), was a Brazilian football player. He played on the position of left-back . His greatest success was winning the 1958 World Cup .

National team

Between 1956 and 1961, Oreco played ten international matches for the Brazilian national team , with which he became world champion in 1958. During the tournament, however, he was not used.

Oreco died in 1985 at the age of 52.
