Valentine James Ozornwafor (born June 1, 1999 in Port Harcourt ) is a Nigerian football player . The center-back has been under contract with Galatasaray Istanbul since July 2019 and has been loaned to UD Almería for the 2019/20 season.

Career

Club career

Ozornwafor played in Enyimba FC's youth team from 2017 to 2019 . The center-back made his debut on March 3, 2019 against Bendel Insurance . The second league game followed on March 17th against Sunshine Stars .

On June 28, 2019, Galatasaray Istanbul announced the signing of Ozornwafor. Galatasaray paid Enyimba a transfer fee of 300,000 euros.

Two months after moving to Turkey, Ozornwafor was loaned to UD Almería in Spain.

In the national team

Valentine Ozornwafor took part in the Nigerian U-20 national team in the African Cup of Nations and the World Cup in 2019 .
