Reviews

“In the good old surrealist tradition, the unreal, the dreamlike and the depths of the subconscious are fathomed with such a power of images and attention to detail that even psychology students in their 500th semester will have difficulty deciphering all meta-levels completely. (...) The almost 40-year-old Czech horror film "Valerie" combines Freud and fantasy, sex and surrealism, kitsch and art, music and fairy tale motifs to create a fascinating and completely independent little masterpiece, which from image disturbance in the usual high quality way DVD has been released.
